I'm excited for Chri
I'm excited for Chris Brown. Yes, I'm disappointed that he let his human side get the best of him and allowed evil to prevail in a moment of weakness, but overall I think that he will eventually recover from this huge ordeal. There are celebrities that are years older than him have not learned their lesson or have yet to be called to the carpet for their unruly actions, although whispers of their flaws are constantly on TMZ and other outlets. At 20, he has been exposed to such an adult situation but has come to terms with his need to deal with his flaws. Definitely my heart goes out to Rihanna, for no woman deserves to be in the situation that she found herself experiencing. It is commendable that she speaks out as well, for they publicly displayed their relationship for young people to look up to and as they progressed, eyes were watching and emulating. Hopefully Rihanna will stay away from men who have anger issues, because as the young eyes watch, the tabloids do as well and connect dots, whether there are dots or not. Both Chris and Rihanna will have their future relationships scrutinized for years to come. Most celebrities in the tabloids have run from their issues and covered up, but Chris Brown manned up and came forward, more than what most celebrities would have done. Granted it was a domestic violence dispute that put him in the forefront of the media, but he at such a young age became a model of what men should do when faced with a flaw that needs to be addressed. He plead guilty and is serving his time (public and in his mind) and although some may never forgive him and may bring up this issue over the course of his life, if he straightens himself and watches his anger, he could be a great role model for young black men trying to reform themselves. Thanks to Robin Roberds for a great interview with Chris and thanks to Diane Sawyer for letting us hear Rihanna's side to the story.
